The Atlantic Cape Community College Scramble ‘Fore’ Scholarships is an annual event hosted by the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation. Net proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for students attending Atlantic Cape. This year’s tournament will be held Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the Cape May National Golf Club.
The tournament begins with registration and lunch, sponsored and catered by Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Scramble rules apply. This year’s tournament will feature a variety of skills competitions.
After spending an afternoon on one of the most naturally beautiful courses in the United States, players will enjoy an awards dinner at the historic Chalfonte Hotel in Cape May, sponsored and catered by Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Dinner will also feature delicious desserts prepared by students at Atlantic Cape’s Academy of Culinary Arts.
The awards dinner also will serve as the capstone event in a series of activities planned to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the college’s Cape May County Campus.
The entry fee is $125 per player. Singles and four-person teams are welcome to sign up.
