This comprehensive program provides the knowledge and skills necessary for photovoltaic installation on residential and commercial projects. The solar installation training prepares participants to take the NABCEP entry-level exam. Upon successful completion, this program qualifies students for an Atlantic Cape Community College Certificate of Completion with 26.0 CEUs and 24 college credits toward a two-year technical studies degree.
Training modules include: Basic Math for PV Installation and Design; Electricity Basics for Photovoltaic; Introduction to National Electrical Code; Green Building Today; Basic Computer Skills; Introduction to PV Design and Installation; OSHA Electrical Review; and a paid internship with a solar company.
This program may be funded by the Atlantic County One Stop Services Center for eligible participants. For more information on the solar installation training program, contact Carol Fraone at email@example.com or (609) 343-5650.
