Green Education Classes for Building Professionals on Tap this Spring

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a number of green-themed workshops during the spring semester, ideal for industry professionals.
Green Building Today!, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 21, learn about the design and construction of Green High Performance Buildings and explore the most recent and future building systems, technologies and materials.
IGSHPA Geothermal Certification, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., beginning Monday, Feb. 28, explore basic geothermal, design and sizing, loop field layout options, fusion, installation techniques, start-up and testing.
In-Home Energy Survey Professional, 9 a.m.-noon, beginning Saturday, March 5, presents concepts in Principals of Energy, Energy & Building Shell, Air Leakage, Insulation, Windows & Doors, plus more. Completion of this course prepares attendees for the RESNET exam.
The Green Education Institute offers a variety of green building courses during the spring semester, including: GBE Commercial Design & Construction Training Program: Green Advantage, Fundamentals of Green Building Certificate Program, Building the Green Home, Green Building Materials and Products, Insulation Education and Green Awareness Seminar, LEED v3 for New Construction, and Core & Shell, K-12 Schools.
Courses take place at the Mays Landing Campus and Mays Landing East, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Institute for Service Excellence in the Hamilton Mall, 4403 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing; the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road; or online.
