Club 60 Plus Offers Fun Classes for Active Seniors

Adults 60 and older have the chance to learn skills and have fun this summer with Atlantic Cape Community College’s new Club 60 Plus programs.
Some Club 60 Plus workshops and seminars include: Exploring the World via the Internet for Seniors, Facebook & Twitter 101 and Introduction to the Personal Computer for Seniors.
Club 60 Plus is also offering a “Week at the Shore” package, where the following classes can be taken individually or together at a discount:
Portraiture Class in the Four Earth Tones, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, learn the method of applying and blending the four earth tones to create portraiture.
Creative Writing, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, designed to improve writing in any genre, poetry or prose. Also, students will learn a successful method for reading work aloud.
Making Your Own Rain Barrel: A Demonstration, 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, learn how to make your own barrels, the tools and materials needed, installation techniques and maintenance issues.
Manage, Edit and E-mail your Photographs, 9 a.m.-noon, Aug. 11, learn how to move pictures from a digital camera to a computer and edit and resize images for use online.
