ACCC Plans Administrative Professionals Week Event April 27
April 3, 2006Atlantic Cape Community College's Office Systems Technology students and the William J. Hughes FAA Technical Center chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will sponsor a free event for office professionals, 5:30-7 p.m., Thursday, April 27. Cape May County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti will speak on “Service through Record Keeping,” at 6 p.m.
The event will be held in the cafeteria on ACCC’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike. Activities will include exhibits, refreshments and door prizes.
The occasion will mark the 54th annual Administrative Professionals Week, formerly known as National Secretaries Week, April 23-29. The “Week” honors administrative professionals, who handle wider duties than clerical responsibilities, in management and technology in the public and private sectors.
For individuals interested in an administrative career, ACCC offers an associate in applied science degree in office systems technology, plus professional programs leading to specialist certification in bilingual office, educational office, hospitality office, information management, legal office, medical office, Microsoft office, multimedia, office automation, office professional and office receptionist and records.
