Seats Available for Continuing Education Classes at CMCC

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of continuing education courses at its Cape May County Campus this summer.
In Manage, Edit and E-mail Your Photographs, learn how to transfer images from your camera to your computer, then edit and resize them for use on the Web or via e-mail. Participants should bring a digital camera and a USB cable, 9 a.m.-noon, June 28.
Introduction to Personal/Business Computers explains how the components of a computer work, including: RAM, CPUs, and hard drives. In addition, students will learn how to use the Internet for business, and how to manage photos, music and files, 6-9 p.m., July 10 and 12.
Get Your Affairs in Order will help participants organize financial, medical and personal information in one place, so important information is readily available to loved ones in the event of a catastrophic event or death, 9 a.m.-noon, July 16 and 18.
Google Docs Series can help students unleash the power of Google Docs, which is a feature-filled alternative to Microsoft Office. The series provides an overview of how to edit and manage existing Office documents, and how to create calendars and share them with co-workers, 6-9 p.m., three Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Aug. 6.
Google Document Processing will teach students how to create, format and edit documents, insert images, add hyperlinks and tables, and create a table of contents in Google Docs. The course teaches students how to share and collaborate with co-workers to improve productivity without special hardware or software, 6-9 p.m., Aug. 6 and 8.
In Google Spreadsheets, students learn how to enter, import and format data, and how to write powerful formulas to clarify data, 6-9 p.m., Aug. 13 and 15.
