Last Chance to Register for Summer Classes; Concurrent Enrollment Available for Some High School Students
June 26, 2012
Atlantic Cape Community College offers a variety of credit courses to accommodate a range of lifestyles this summer. Whether you’re a high school student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree during Atlantic Cape’s summer sessions. Choose from courses in business, communication, computers, English, math, science and more.
The final summer session runs July 9-Aug. 16. The in-person registration deadline is July 5; the online, fax or mail deadline is July 8.
To view a complete list of summer courses and to register online, visit www.atlantic.edu/summer/. Regular registration hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. The college will be closed July 4, and on Fridays through Aug. 17.
High school students may qualify to take classes through Atlantic Cape’s concurrent enrollment plan. Students experience the rigors of a college course and earn college credit. Recommendation of high school guidance counselor or administrator is required. Those considered must have completed ninth grade, be age 16 or older, and obtain qualifying test scores on the college Accuplacer test or provide SAT/ACT scores.
Students can register at the college’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
Payment for summer classes is due at the time of registration. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (609) 343-5000, 625-1111, ext. 5000, or 463-3960 in Cape May County.
