Seats Open for Aug. 7 Workshop at the Academy of Culinary Arts

Seats are still available for Atlantic Cape Community College’s final summer workshop in the “An Evening in…” series with Chef Jon Davies, 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Academy of Culinary Arts.
In An Evening in Our South Jersey Garden, Chef Davies will show you how to get the most out of your farmers market or garden co-op. He will share tips about how to prepare local seafood and locally grown eggplant, zucchini and tomatoes. Participants will end the night by making strawberry-rhubarb pies and blueberry desserts.
The series will continue during the fall semester with the following classes: An Evening in Normandy, An Evening in Santa Fe, An Evening in Old Havana, An Evening in India, An Evening in the Land of the Incas and La Vigilia, with a Sicilian Flair.
