Food Drives Taking Place at All Atlantic Cape Campuses

Atlantic Cape Community College student clubs and college staff are organizing food drives throughout the month at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Road; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House. Members of the community are invited to support the student food drives. Details include:
Atlantic City Campus—Collecting nonperishable canned food items for Sister Jean's Kitchen through Nov. 16. Collection containers are located throughout the campus.
Cape May County Campus—Collecting nonperishable canned food items for Saint Vincent De Paul Food Pantry and Thrift Store at Saint Casimir Church in Woodbine through Nov. 16. Collection boxes are located at the main entrance and in the third floor Faculty Support Office.
Mays Landing Campus—The Student Government Association is collecting nonperishable food items for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey—Southern Branch through Nov. 14. A donation box is located in front of the Student Life Center, J-Building. Accepted items include: Canned Fish, Canned Meats, Boxed Meals, Pasta, Pasta Sauce (no glass), Rice, Canned Soup, Canned Gravy, Mac & Cheese, Peanut Butter (no glass), Jelly (no glass), Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Granola Snacks, Cereal and Shelf Stable (non-refrigerated) Juice.
Additionally, the Culinary Student Association is collecting peanut butter and jelly through Nov. 19. Collection boxes are located outside of Careme’s Restaurant, in front of the Student Life Center and in A-Building. Donations will benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey—Southern Branch and the Campus Kitchen at Atlantic City.
