Atlantic Cape Offers Green and Sustainable Living Classes

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a number of green-themed classes this spring, ideal for those looking to advance their skills.
Green Building Today!, beginning April 12, provides an in-depth overview of the design and construction of Green High Performance Buildings and explores the most current building systems, technologies and materials.
LEED for Green Associate PLUS, April 19 and 26, prepares beginning green building professionals to pass the Green Building Certification Institute’s LEED for Green Associate exam.
Solar Professional Certification, beginning May 13, offers photovoltaic installation training on residential and commercial buildings.
Introduction to PV Design and Installation and Exam Prep, two sections, beginning May 21 and July 15, will review PV design and installation concepts to prepare students for the NABCEP exam.
NABCEP Solar Installer Certification, beginning March 26, provides a set of national standards by which PV installers with skills and experience can distinguish themselves from their competition. Ideal for those responsible for system installation, including: contractors, foremen, supervisors or journeymen.
