Atlantic Cape Accepts $200 Donation from Greater Wildwood Lions Club
July 18, 2013
The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation accepted a $200 gift from the Greater Wildwood Lions Club, July 11, to support Atlantic Cape’s purchase of equipment and furnishings for the new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math building on the Mays Landing Campus.
“We are very pleased to support our community’s college. Over the years, we have awarded scholarships to many local high school grads and most of them have pursued their degrees at Atlantic Cape. We believe our donation is a sound investment,” Patty Nesbitt, treasurer of the Greater Wildwood Lions Club, said.
For their contribution, the Lions Club will be listed on a recognition wall as one of the many donors to support the Create Opportunity Campaign.
The Greater Wildwood Lions Club was organized more than 50 years ago by local community leaders to help the sight impaired, provide scholarships to high school graduates and support other charitable activities in the region.
