HPI Offers Health Career Training Programs This Spring

The Health Professions Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College offers a variety of programs to train individuals interested in a health care career.
Pharmacy Technician prepares students to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician certification exam, beginning March 4.
Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist reviews the implementation and management of electronic health information and how to maintain the medical, legal and regulatory requirements of the records, beginning March 4.
Learn the concepts behind electrocardiography and prepare for a career as an EKG technician in EKG/Telemtry Technician, beginning April 21.
Certified Nurse Aide is a great way to start a career in the health care profession. CNAs will be eligible for employment in a long-term care facility, assisted living facility, adult medical day care or some hospitals. Classes begin April 1 or June 2.
Certified Home Health Aide for CNAs is designed for the CNA who wants to advance, two Saturdays, March 22 & 29, April 5 & 12, or May 3 & 10.
The EMT Refresher Course reviews the skills, knowledge and critical thinking needed to provide the best in patient care. Coursework is delivered in three modules, March 28, April 4 and April 11.
Lecture and lab modules will take place at the Health Professions Institute at Atlantic Cape’s Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd. Clinical expertise will come from various hospital settings.
