31st Annual Restaurant Gala to Showcase 40 Top Restaurants from Atlantic City to Philadelphia

The Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala’s 31st annual dining extravaganza will feature original dishes from 40 of the region’s best restaurants. With the theme “The Greatest Gala on Earth,” the 2014 Gala will feature a vintage carnival atmosphere and delectable dishes and desserts from a variety of restaurants at the March 13 event at Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.
The annual event celebrates food with mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres prepared by students at the Academy of Culinary Arts and the house specialties of area restaurants served at a progressive dining experience. An elegant dessert reception, co-headed by Executive Pastry Chef Deb Pellegrino of Caesars Entertainment and Chef Educator Tree McCann of the Academy of Culinary Arts, will complete the night.
Participating restaurants include: Amada, American Cut, Annata Wine Bar, Arturo’s, Azure by Allegretti, Buddakan Atlantic City, Chart House, The Continental, Distrito, Dos Caminos, The Ebbitt Room, Foundation Room, Girasole Ristorante & Lounge, Grotto, Il Mulino New York, Kelsey’s, Kwi Noodle Bar, Lillie’s Asian Cuisine, Lugo Italian, Luke Palladino at Harrah’s, Mama Mia’s Ristorante & Catering, Mussel Bar, Nero’s Tuscan Steakhouse at Caesars, The Princeton and Ram’s Head Inn.
Also featured are: Renault Winery Resort, The Reserve at Bally’s, Resorts Hotel & Casino Eastwind Chinese Restaurant, Robert’s Steakhouse, Scannicchio’s, Scarduzio’s at Showboat, Sheraton Atlantic City, The Smithville Inn, Sofia, Steve & Cookie’s by the Bay, Tropicana Casino Resort—Fin, Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse, Village Whiskey and Yacht Club of Stone Harbor.
The Gala has raised $3 million since 1984 for scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations. The Gala begins at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 13.
