September 22, 2006From computer and medical career training to floral workshops and cooking lessons, Atlantic Cape Community College will offer more than 40 Continuing Education courses in October.
Career training includes: Medical Administrative Office Specialist, Microsoft Office Specialist with QuickBooks, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Computer Technical Solution Series, Advanced Computer Technical Solution Series, The Art of Mentoring and Culinary Arts Training Program.
Computer courses include: Adobe Premiere Elements, PC Repair and Upgrades, PC Repair Level 2, Introduction to Word 2003, Word Part II, Introduction to Excel, Introduction to Access, QuickBooks Pro Level 1, QuickBooks Pro Level 2, Intermediate Dreamweaver and Fireworks 8, Advanced Dreamweaver 8, Using Flash Professional 8, Introduction to the Personal Computer for the Senior Citizen, Exploring the World via the Internet for Senior Citizens, Photoshop CS II, Part 2, Adobe Illustrator CS II and Adobe InDesign CS II.
Professional development training includes: Introduction to Grant Writing, Developing Your Non-Profit—A Four-Part Series, Internal Revenue Service: Fall 2006 Tax Update Seminar, Personal Trainer Phase II Certification, and Sports Nutrition: A Certification Workshop.
Personal development workshops include: Basic Floral Design, Floral Design—Beyond the Basics, Exploring Digital Photography, An Introduction to Voice Acting, Outdoor Landscapes, Advanced Belly Dancing, More Latin Dancing, More Ballroom Dancing, More Swing Dancing, Teaching English as a Second Language, Learn to Get Completely Out of Debt, An Introduction to Digital Photography, Cooking Methods 101, Asian Cuisine and Introduction to Pulled Sugar.
Classes will be held in three locations, including: ACCC’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Center, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; or the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
