50/50 Restaurant Gala Raffle Winners Announced

Lucky ticket-holders shared in the more than $20,000 prize in this year's Press of Atlantic City Restaurant Gala 50/50 Raffle. The winning tickets were drawn at the 24th annual Restaurant Gala held March 7, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The winners include:First Prize, $12,090, Jeffrey H. Gott of Wildwood
Second Prize, $4,030, Christie Magee of Galloway
Third Prize, $1,343, Dan Anderson of Egg Harbor City
Third Prize, $1,343, Deborah Bass of Villas
Third Prize, $1,343, a group of college employees including Sue McNamara of Margate, Paula J. Hamilton of Sicklerville, Barbara Clark of Egg Harbor Township, Vickie Brown of Minotola, Gina Skinner of Atlantic City, Joanne Gleason of Hammonton, Linda McLeod of Atlantic City, Carmen Cabrera of Hammonton, Rosemarie Conaghy of Collings Lakes, and Tammy DeFranco of Galloway.
Winning amounts were based on the number of tickets sold. More than 400 raffle tickets were sold at $100 each, raising approximately $20,000 for scholarships. Presented by Commerce Bank, this year's dining extravaganza attracted more than 1,000 attendees and raised a record-breaking $240,000 for culinary and college scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Atlantic Cape Community College. In its 24-year history, the Gala has raised more than $1.6 million for college scholarships.
