ACCC Foundation Adds to Library Collection
August 17, 2005The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation Board presented the college with more than 100 new books for the libraries at the Mays Landing and Cape May County campuses. The Foundation purchased the books with approximately $3,700 donated to its 2004 end-of-year appeal from the community.
Foundation President Lynda Pagliughi presented the books to ACCC’s library head Grant Wilinski, acting associate dean of Academic Support Services, during a reception at the college’s William Spangler Library on Aug. 16.
“The end-of-year appeal was the first in the history of the college. Because of your generosity, we were able to do this,” Pagliughi said to the donors.
The new books largely include original works and criticisms of classics of American literature.
