ACCC Offers Expanded Youth Career Advancement Program
November 28, 2007
Are you 18 to 21, out of school and looking for a career? Atlantic Cape Community College in conjunction with Job Connection, a partner of the Atlantic County One Stop System and the Youth Investment Council of the Atlantic-Cape May Workforce Investment Board, will train eligible participants for entry-level positions in health and office careers.
These include certified nurse aides, patient care technicians, phlebotomy technicians, medical administrative office specialists and office technology specialists.
The training will be held in Atlantic and Cape May counties and is completely free. Participants are paid for their time in the classroom, and the program provides some assistance with child care expenses.
To learn more, attend an information session Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Institute for Service Excellence at the Hamilton Mall. Reserve your seat by calling Erica Hoskins at (609) 343-5682 or (609) 463-4774, ext. 5682 in Cape May County.
