ACCC College Relations Director Reelected To Second Term on Board of National Council

Kathy Corbalis, Atlantic Cape Community College executive director of communications and college relations, has been elected to a second term as District 1 Director of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.
Corbalis, who has been with ACCC since 1983, lives in Glassboro. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in journalism from Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communication and earned an M.A. in communications from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). She currently attends the University of Pennsylvania College of General Studies, where she is pursuing a certificate in fundraising.
The Colorado-based council, the only organization of its kind, solely represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. The affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges includes members from more than 600 colleges in the United States, Canada and other countries.
In her role as District 1 Director, Corbalis will oversee numerous activities, including the annual fall conferences. The post also includes service on the NCMPR national board.
