ACCC Offers CPR Training Classes

The Health Professions Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College will offer several CPR certification courses this semester at its Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus.
CPR/AED/BLS is designed for medical and dental personnel, nursing students, physical therapists and other healthcare providers. American Heart Association certification, good for two years, will be awarded on successful completion of the eight-hour course. The classe meets 9 a.m.-4 p.m.,
CPR Recertification is a four-hour course that teaches the most current CPR information for those who need to renew their certification. Classes meet
9 a.m.-1 p.m., April 5; or 5-9 p.m., June 10.
Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid trains lay rescuers to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies. The course also includes CPR/AED and relief of choking for adults, children and infants. The course is offered 9 a.m.-4 p.m., May 3.
