ACCC to Host Spring Open House April 24; Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson Participating

Atlantic Cape Community College will hold an open house, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, April 24. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in J building on the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
Representatives from Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson universities will be on hand to provide information about how to obtain a four-year degree via satellite classes held through a partnership with ACCC.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet ACCC faculty and staff and obtain detailed information on how to apply for admission, learn about short-term training programs and courses such as Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Nursing and more.
Information on financial aid, including the NJ STARS program, will be offered, Those who graduate in the top 20 percent of their New Jersey high school class and meet all other criteria, are eligible for free tuition and fees at ACCC. NJ STARS covers the full cost of tuition and most fees for up to five semesters at ACCC for eligible students. Paying for College information sessions will be held at 5:30 and 6 p.m. In addition, information on ACCC's degree programs, including Communication, Digital Design and Technical Studies, will be available.
Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson staff will provide information about the admissions process, available majors, online courses and other details about how to obtain an advanced degree without leaving the county.
