ACCC Offers Variety of Summer Workshops at CMCC

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE-Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a wide variety of noncredit courses, from yoga to retirement planning and computer courses specifically for seniors, at the college's Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
CMCC's summer continuing education series will include a variety of new courses: Introduction to Drawing Portraits (6-9 p.m., four Thursdays beginning June 5); Retirement Planning Today (6:30-9:30 p.m., two Thursdays, June 12 and 19) and Photoshop Elements 4.0-Layers and Advanced Tools (6-9 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18).
Courses being offered once again are: Introduction to Personal/Business Computers (9 a.m.-noon, Monday and Wednesday, June 2 and 4); Yoga (noon-1:30 p.m., five Thursdays beginning June 5); eBay: Buying, Selling, Collecting (9 a.m.-noon, two Thursdays, June 12 and 19); Word 2007 (5:30-8:30 p.m., two Tuesdays and two Thursdays beginning July 8); Excel 2007 (5:30-8:30 p.m., two Tuesdays and two Thursdays beginning July 22); Access 2007 (5:30-8:30 p.m., two Tuesdays and two Thursdays beginning Aug. 5) and PowerPoint 2007 (5:30-8:30 p.m., two Tuesdays and two Thursdays beginning Aug. 19).
For seniors interested in learning or enhancing computer skills, there's Introduction to Personal Computers for Seniors (9 a.m.-noon, four Mondays beginning June 9) and Exploring the World via the Internet for Seniors (9 a.m.-noon, three Mondays beginning July 7).
