Children can enjoy William Shakespeare's delightful play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," presented by Atlantic Cape Community College's Community Affairs Program, in conjunction with the New Jersey Theatre Alliance on Sunday, March 22. The show is for children grades K-8 and their families and will be performed by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Shakespeare Live! touring company at noon in the Middle Township Performing Arts Center in Cape May Court House, and at 4 p.m. in the Walter Edge Theatre on ACCC's Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a beloved comedy about the escapades of four young lovers and a band of rustics who become the objects of pranks in the Fairy Kingdom. This is an excellent introduction to the works of Shakespeare for young children.
