Artist Steve Kuzma Featured at Atlantic Cape's Art Gallery
November 19, 2009
Atlantic Cape Community College's Art Gallery is featuring the colorful depictions of "The Seasons" by artist Steve Kuzma through Dec. 17. An opening reception to meet the artist will be held 1-4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
The Ventnor resident studied at the Philadelphia College of Art and Parsons School of Design in New York City. He graduated with honors from Parsons and was awarded fellowships to study overseas in Sienna, Italy, and Paris, France.
In his extensive travels overseas and throughout the continental United States, Kuzma has developed a growing connection to nature and is profoundly inspired by its beauty. This love and appreciation of nature, coupled with his deeply spiritual art, form the foundation of his unique style and sublime message. A strong sense of color and a free-flowing method combined with a masterful use of layering techniques provide the depth and dimension inherent to all of his paintings.
ACCC's Art Gallery is located on the college's Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, adjacent to the theater in C-building (C-125), parking lot #3. Gallery hours can be obtained by calling the ACCC Art Gallery Information Line,
