Chef Educators Conduct Three Culinary Workshops In April on Two ACCC Campuses
February 2, 2006This spring, for the first time, chef educators from Atlantic Cape Community College's Academy of Culinary Arts will conduct non-credit culinary workshops in May at ACCC's Cape May County and Mays Landing campuses.
The workshops are:
- Figures, Flowers and Unique Decorations, all made from marzipan, the succulent confection that is almond paste. This is a hands-on workshop in creating edible table decorations. It takes place at 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, in the seminar dining room on the Cape May County Campus.
- Creating Artisan Bread, unveils secrets of preparing tasty and hearty old world bread dough, 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, in ACA’s professional kitchens at Mays Landing.
- Meals on the Run delves into using simple ingredients in planning healthful meals that can be cooked in less than one hour, 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, in the professional kitchens at Mays Landing.
