Departmental purchasing and acquisition of information technology must comply with ITS guidelines and policies. ITS will set standards for suitable hardware and software configurations, and identify those configurations it will support. College-wide information technology infrastructure decisions such as the selection, implementation, and operation of systems such as (but not limited to) email, file servers, network operating systems, multi-user systems, diagnostic tools, etc., remain the exclusive domain of ITS.
