Description: Emergency Closings

The College may be closed for weather or other emergency conditions with respect to faculty and students only or for faculty, students, administrators and staff. However, "essential staff" are required to be at work under all circumstances. This group is defined in the collective bargaining agreements.

There may be conditions which warrant closing at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus or Cape May County Campus even though the Mays Landing Campus were to remain open. In this situation, the President would seek a recommendation from the Dean of Facilities, Planning and Research who would, in turn, confer with appropriate staff before making a recommendation.
