Description: Rule Violation
Rules and regulations are essential to the effective operation of the college. The following rules are presented for the common guidance of all employees. They are fundamental in character and are for the convenience and protection of all.
Committing any of the following violations will be considered sufficient grounds for disciplinary action, ranging from an oral warning to immediate discharge depending on the seriousness and the frequency of the offense.

Leaving the work location OW WR S D during work shift without authorization. 8. Idling, loafing, or inatten- OW WR S D tion during work hours. 9. Failure to properly ring OW WR S D time clock. 10. Failure to notify the college OW WR S D on each day of unscheduled absence. 11. Using profane or obscene OW WR S D language or gestures. 12. Violation of minor safety OW WR S D rules and practices. 13. Misusing, damaging, or des- WR S D troying college property. 14. Gambling or unauthorized WR S D possession of gambling devices on college property. 15. Insubordination S D 16. Violations of major safety S D rules and practices. 17. Sleeping or giving the S D impression of sleeping during work hours. 18. Ringing another employee's S D time card. 19. Falsifying or altering time S D cards or other records. 20. Reporting to work while under S D the influence of alcoholic beverages or narcotics, or un- authorized possession or use of these on college property. 21. Immoral conduct or indecency S D 22.
