Atlantic Cape Community College's Presidential Installation & 40th Anniversary Celebration

Atlantic Cape Community College is celebrating the college's 40th Anniversary this year!

In October, as part of the celebration, ACCC inaugurated Dr. Peter Mora as the college's eighth President.

The series of events commemorating the college's 40th anniversary celebration included themes from Dr. Peter L. Mora’s personal vision statement: Access, Stewardship, and Excellence.

The schedule included:

A Cape May County Campus Fund-raiser, to raise funds for student scholarships on Friday, September 29, 6-9 p.m.
A three-campus staff reception with Dr. Mora and veteran ACCC personnel from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on:
- October 4, 2006; Worthington Atlantic City Center, Room 204
- October 10, 2006; Mays Landing Campus, Cafeteria B
- October 18, 2006; Cape May County Campus, Room 113
A cultural event, especially geared to interests of students in Atlantic City on Thursday, October 5 at 11:30 am in the Worthington Atlantic City Center Cafeteria.
A Cape May County Golf Tournament at Cape May National Golf club, to raise grants-in-aid and scholarships for students on Friday, October 13, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Mays Landing Campus Installation Day on Thursday, October 19:
1. Senior Staff meeting with renowned speaker Dr. John Roueche: 9:30-10:30 a.m., J245
2. Faculty Assembly meeting with renowned speaker Dr. John Roueche: 12:30-1:45 pm, M banquet hall
3. Pre-Installation robing reception for Platform guests: Invitation only, 2:00 p.m., Careme's Restaurant, M Building
4. Pre-Installation robing for participants in the Academic Procession: Invitation only, 2:15 p.m., Cafeteria B, C Building
5. Installation Ceremony: Walter Edge Theater, open to the public; 3:00 pm; Keynote Speaker Dr. John Roueche
6. After-Installation Reception: 4:15 pm, M banquet hall
