Since the Academy of Culinary Arts is part of Atlantic Cape Community College, high-quality culinary training costs less here than at many culinary colleges. Many students receive some form of financial aid, making it even more affordable to study here.
Your costs will include:
- tuition and fees
- books
- uniforms
- a knife set (approximate cost of $300)
- (optional) housing
For a rough estimate of the typical cost for a two-year program, visit the sample cost summaries. You’ll find one version for students inside Atlantic or Cape May counties and others for students outside the counties or the state -- including students with chargebacks.
Aid
The Academy of Culinary Arts awards more than $100,000 in culinary scholarships each year. Many students receive some type of scholarship award ranging from several hundred dollars to a full scholarship.
If you qualify for financial aid, you’ll have a wide range of programs available, including grants, scholarships, and loans. You may qualify for an interest-free payment plan that lets you divide the semester’s tuition into five equal payments. If you’re a veteran or eligible dependent, you can attend under the GI Bill.
