Education and training:
Hotel School of Sareguemines in Sareguemines, France
Worked as a cook, swing cook, garde manger, chef and executive chef in Lausanne, Switzerland; also worked in Canada before taking positions at establishments in Greenwich, Conn., with Canteen Corp. in Chicago and at Caesars Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. He has been Chef Educator at the Academy since 1983.
Honors and affiliations:
Chef Richert has been selected to be included in Who's Who Among America's Teachers four times and has also been voted Teacher of the Year by Academy students four times.
