Nouveau Beaujolais

Chaine des Rotisseurs Link

Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts (ACA) and the Atlantic City Chapter of the Chaine des Rotisseurs, the world’s oldest, largest food and wine society, will host its 19th Annual Nouveau Wine & Food Tasting on Friday, November 20.  Over the past 18 years, the Chapter has taken great pride in awarding over $83,000 in scholarships to deserving Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students.

This event is believed to be the largest of its kind on the East Coast, celebrated the day after the legal release of the Beaujolais Nouveau wines. The tastings occurs in the working kitchens of the ACA.  Each kitchen will feature a food buffet prepared and served by culinary students, complemented by a selection of Beaujolais Nouveau wines from France, poured by hospitality students.  An extravagant dessert buffet warrants one kitchen exclusively!

This event provides ACA students the opportunity to demonstrate their culinary skills, and acknowledges this year’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management scholarship recipients.

Cultivating culinary and hospitality professionals in our South Jersey region is tremendously important, and supporting this event is a worthwhile investment to ensure future, successful culinarians and hospitality professionals.

We hope you will join us for this ever-popular event!
