Performing Arts
The Performing Arts option serves as a platform for students interested in transferring to four-year institutions in a performing arts area. The option fulfills General Education requirements and provides a foundation in the basic courses associated with the discipline. This option includes a broad-based exposure to many of the disciplines in the area of performing arts and consists primarily of entry-level or introductory courses. The student would specialize at the senior institution level.

Upon Completion of this program students will be able to:
- Apply performance skills through the practice of dance, music and theater;
- Demonstrate a proficiency in the performing arts practices;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the professional practices in the fields of music, dance and theater;
- Analyze performances in dance, theater and music including one’s own.
