Dual Enrollment

The dual enrollment program at Atlantic Cape is available to area high school students. 
  • Atlantic Cape approves certain high school courses as college credit-worthy
  • Students take courses at their own high school with their teachers
  • Students who successfully complete courses may fulfill high school graduation requirements
  • Students receive credit and grades on their high school and Atlantic Cape transcripts
  • Contact your high school guidance office about specific application and payment deadlines. 
  • There is no application fee to apply
  • Students must fill out an application to Atlantic Cape and a Dual-Credit registration form. 
  • Students pay a reduced tuition rate for the program as approved by the Atlantic Cape Board of Trustees. Dual-credit is not awarded retroactively.
Meet Our Local High School Students Earning College Credits

Meet Andrew Rock

andrew-rockAndrew Rock graduated as an "Early College Program Student" that included dual, concurrent, and articulated credits. He attended Atlantic County Institute of Technology High School (ACIT) and Atlantic Cape Community College. Andrew began his college journey at only 14. This program allowed Andrew to graduate in the Spring of 2020 with both his associate's degree from Atlantic Cape and his high school diploma from ACIT. Andrew is attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, studying Aviation Meteorology and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Andrew held himself to a higher standard given this opportunity at Atlantic Cape and excelled through challenges.
