Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Celebration Planned for Nov. 21
At one minute past midnight on the third Thursday of each November, more than one million cases of Beaujolais Nouveau, the newest wine from the Beaujolais region of France, begin a journey to all parts of the world.
Wine enthusiasts can celebrate the release of several nouveau wines at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, at Careme’s, the student-run gourmet restaurant of ACCC’s Academy of Culinary Arts. In conjunction with the local chapter of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the Academy offers a limited number of tickets to this celebration where guests will be treated to authentic French country food and tantalizing desserts prepared and served by ACA students. Nouveau wines from several different producers will be available for tasting.
All proceeds support student scholarships. The Chaîne has awarded $18,500 to ACA students in the event’s history. The cost of the celebration is $50 per person. For reservations, contact Kelly Connor at (609) 340-4552 or e-mail kconnor@tropicana.net.
