President's Distinguished Alumni Award Nominations

The 2019 President's Distinguished Alumni Award Application is available November 1, 2018 through February 1, 2019.  Established in 2010, the President’s Distinguished Alumni Award has been presented annually to graduates of Atlantic Cape that have differentiated themselves through professional, public or community-based accomplishments. 

Nominations are reviewed by the Atlantic Cape Alumni Advisory Committee and their recipient recommendations are submitted to the college president for consideration. To recognize the Atlantic Cape Foundation's 40th Anniversary, the Alumni Advisory Committee will select four recipients for the 2019 award; one each from the late 1960's/1970's, 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR! The Alumni Advisory Committee will also select four nominees under the age of 40 that represent our finest rising stars. The Top Four Under 40 category serves to recognize young alumni that are excelling in their professions, contributing to their communities, and demonstrating a commitment to Atlantic Cape's mission and values.

Nominate an alumnus/alumna today! All nominations are due by February 1, 2019 for consideration.

36th Annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala

Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center

The 36th Annual Restaurant Gala will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the beautiful Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.  This black-tie event, held each spring in Atlantic City, draws an average attendance of 1,000 including area businessmen and women, community leaders, local dignitaries, casino executives and those who simply want to be a part of South Jersey's premiere food and beverage event. The Restaurant Gala raises scholarship dollars for students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts located on Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus.  The theme of this year's Gala is "Recipe for Success."

President's Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner

Join us as we honor the 2019 President's Distinguished Alumni Award recipients.  Enjoy an incredible three course meal prepared by students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts while celebrating the accomplishments of fellow Atlantic Cape alumni.  This event is open to alumni and their guests but tickets are limited.  Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased by emailing Kristin Jackson or calling (609) 463-3621.

Academy of Culinary Arts Alumni

Looking to expand your culinary reputation or impress possible backers?

Have a great idea for a menu innovation or are you looking to attract new customers from the South Jersey area?

Careme's Restaurant is offering its facility for use to graduates as a Pop Up venue. This opportunity is available to Academy of Culinary Arts Alumni only. Interested Chefs need to contact Chef McClay at (609) 343-4939.

A $250 fee will be charged and Alumni will need to bring their own staff to operate. Must provide proof of insurance OR we can direct you to an event policy for a reasonable price.
