ACCC's Alumni Association is open to all
students who have received a degree or completed the two year culinary
arts program. All members receive an ID card and a membership packet that
contains expanded details of the benefits and services available to members.
Annual membership requires payment of dues each year for a card
to be issued. Lifetime members pay a one-time rate and do not need to apply
for renewal.

The Academy of Culinary Arts is New Jersey's largest cooking school, training more than 2,500 graduates in careers for the food service industry. As part of their on-campus training, students cook and serve in the Academy's gourmet restaurant, Careme's. The restaurant offers fine dining in an intimate setting, serving lunch and dinner Monday through Friday when classes are in session. Diners with an alumni card receive 20 percent discount on the cost of meals. Reservations required. For information or reservations, call Careme's at 609 343-4940.
ACCC’s continuing education division provides career and personal training in subjects such as starting a small business, using the latest computer software programs or learning a foreign language. Alumni with a current membership card can receive $10 off a computer workshop valued at $100 or more. See the Continuing Education Program Guide or call (609)343-4829 for current offerings.
The Follett campus bookstore offers a 10 percent discount, excluding textbooks and food items. Alumni can receive a discount on clothing, school and office supplies, calendars, greeting cards, computer software, trade and reference books, specialty gifts and clearance items. To receive the discount, members must show a current id card. Bookstore hours are as posted. For information, call the bookstore at 609 343-5130.
Alumni will receive a discounted admission to all college cultural events, including student theater productions and the singer/songwriter showcase. Discount will vary according to the event and will be published at that time. Current i.d. card required. ACCC’s Career Center offers guidance and resources to assist you in making informed decisions on career choices. The Center provides counseling, workshops, information and job placement free of charge to current association members. Resources include the FOCUS program, a computer-based career planning program that directs the user to appropriate occupations. FOCUS is available to alumni and requires an orientation session before use. Job placement workshops include resume writing, tips on interviewing and preparation for completing job application forms. The William Spangler library on the Mays Landing Campus and the Information Commons at the Cape May County Campus offer free information and services to current members with an ID card and a valid community borrower’s card. Services include limited online access, inter-library loans and extended research facilities. ACCC has transfer counselors to assist current students and alumni in transfer decisions. Transfer and articulation agreements exist between ACCC and many accredited colleges and universities both within and outside of New Jersey. In addition, ACCC has an agreement with Thomas Edison State College that permits ACCC graduates to complete a bachelor's degree without leaving their home county. Five degrees in more than 100 areas of specialization are available through a combination of course study, testing and on-line options. Members will receive a quarterly newsletter that includes the latest information on ACCC events and news, with a column dedicated to alumni happenings. Members will receive a parking decal to park on any of ACCC’s campuses.
