Thank you for supporting the 35th Annual Restaurant Gala!

The Atlantic Cape Foundation, Gala Planning Committee, and Academy of Culinary Arts would like to express their gratitude to the 2018 Restaurant Gala's sponsors, participants, and patrons.  It is because of your generosity that this event continues to be the premiere food and beverage event in South Jersey!  This year's Gala, held on March 28, 2018 at the beautiful Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, raised $214,400!  The proceeds from this event will benefit students at the Academy of Culinary Arts, an emergency fund for students and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations. 

The black tie event begins with a cocktail reception featuring hors d’oeuvres prepared by students from the Academy of Culinary Arts.  After the reception, guests enter the grand Avalon Ballroom where they feast on original dishes from 40 of the area’s best restaurants. Guests also have the opportunity to sample wine, beer, and spirits from local wineries, breweries, and distilleries.  An elegant dessert reception and live entertainment complete the evening’s festivities.

The Restaurant Gala is the college’s key fundraising event with proceeds funding scholarships for students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts (ACA). Since its inception, the Gala has raised more than $3 million for scholarships through the support of the community and corporate sponsors.  It is because of this support that our Foundation has provided scholarship support for over 200 students.

SAVE THE DATE for the 2019 Restaurant Gala!  The 36th Annual Restaurant Gala will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.  Join the celebration and help ensure our future service as the “community’s college!”
