Network Administration
Prerequisite: A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended.
With all the various new technologies, challenges and platforms available today, it is essential for IT professionals to keep up with current information. Whether you are trying to learn the latest security technologies found in routers and servers, or are looking to prepare for Microsoft’s MCITP or Cisco’s CCNA certifications, the Network Administration program will provide you with the fundamentals and skills you will need to succeed in your goals. At the completion of this course, you will be able to install, configure, secure and maintain network environments using the Microsoft and Cisco technologies and will be prepared to take the associated CCNA and MCITP: Server Administrator exams.
This program includes the following modules: Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), 180 hours; Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional: Server Administrator (MCITP), 205 hours. The Network Administration program is eligible for up to 25 college credits toward an ACCC degree. See individual module descriptions for additional program information.
