Medical Transcription Certificate – Online (240 hours)

Prerequisites:  You should have excellent editing and proofreading skills, be proficient in keyboarding and have a basic understanding of word processing.

Medical transcriptionists work for hospitals, outpatient clinics, physician offices, national transcription services or other medical offices. The Medical Transcription Certificate program is designed to provide you with a beginning knowledge of the transcription of medical records. A complete Medical Terminology course is included with the Medical Transcription Certificate program. You will also be introduced to basic human anatomy.
