Business Technology Specialist
Prerequisite: Candidates must obtain a reading score of 9 and math score of 9 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). TABE test may be waived for students possessing a college degree. Assessment to determine level of basic computer and keyboarding knowledge.
Computers, Technology and IT Certifications
Learn the technology skills you need to succeed in an office environment. You will learn document production, spreadsheet preparation, the effective use of presentation software, organization of electronic calendar, and computerized bookkeeping.
Instruction includes: Intro to the PC, Windows and Internet; Keyboarding; Google Docs; Word 2013; Excel 2013; PowerPoint 2013; Outlook 2013; Microsoft Office Collaboration and Integration; QuickBooks and Professional Development.
Upon successful completion of entire program, you will receive up to nine college credits toward an Atlantic Cape degree. You can become certified in Microsoft Word or Excel. The cost for one exam is included.
