Adobe Photoshop CS6 Suite

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Photoshop CS5 or previous version.

Many companies today are producing their own graphic designs and advertisements in-house. Learn the software you will need to create your own designs. Adobe Photoshop CS6, Part 1

Adobe Photoshop CS6, Part 2

Prerequisite: Introduction to Photoshop course or equivalent ability.

You’ll learn how to isolate image areas by creating and saving masks with specialized tools, commands, modes and layer elements and how to use vector paths, create and apply gradients, patterns and color overlays. Book ISBN number will be available upon registration.

Adobe Illustrator CS6, Part 1

Explore the basics of designing and editing illustrations for printed copy and Web graphics. Specific lessons focus on skills such as creating basic shapes, drawing with the pen tool, painting, transforming objects, working with type, blending shapes and colors, working with symbols, using brushes and scribbles, creating airbrush effects, using the 3-D effect and printing. Adobe Illustrator CS6, Part 2

Prerequisite: Adobe Illustrator CS6, Part 1 or equivalent ability.

You’ll learn how to use the pen tool to draw paths as well as how to select and edit paths, add and alter text, work with layers, work with fills and colors with the swatch libraries, develop gradients and use object transparency. You’ll also learn how to adjust typography and format and edit text. Book ISBN number will be available upon registration.
