Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Prerequisite: A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended; Net+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended. Candidates must obtain a reading score of 10.9 and math score of 10.9 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). TABE test may be waived for students possessing a college degree.

The Server Administration certification provides problem-solving skills in working with Windows Server 2008. Server administrators are recognized among their peers as leaders in the operations management of Windows Server 2008. This course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot a Windows 7 deployment, a Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure and an Active Directory deployment. Students will set up and maintain network infrastructure services and learn how to secure a network environment using industry standard technologies. Cost includes one Microsoft certification exam and one practice test.
