QuickBooks 2015

This QuickBooks overview covers accounting basics to advanced QuickBooks features. You will learn the fundamentals of the accounting equation and gain an understanding of debits and credits in preparation for learning QuickBooks. QuickBooks 2015 tracks the financial activity of a small business. Topics include banking, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, inventory, billing and customer data management.

During the advanced features portion of the program, you will learn invoice design, debit memo and credit memo applications, setting up in-house payroll, analysis and various management reporting techniques. Bring a flash drive to save your company data and files during class. There is no required book for this course.

Microsoft Office 2013 Series

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Windows.

This comprehensive course is designed to introduce new users to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Learn the basic functions of these three software applications that can be applied to everyday personal and professional activities (see individual course listings below for descriptions). You receive a 10 percent discount if you take the whole series.

Instruction also includes working with ranges, rows, columns, simple functions, applying formatting techniques, creating and modifying charts and working with graphics.
