Environmental Protection Agency Training
As of July 2010, all contractors MUST get Lead-Safe certified by an EPA-approved EPA Training Provider. New Jersey Department of Community Affairs requires additional training for contractors in New Jersey-specific codes.
Atlantic Cape will offer classes to comply with these requirements. Contractors will be able to get certification in four areas: EPA’s Lead-Safe Renovation, Repair and Painting, Dust Sampling Technicians and OSHA Hazards.
These classes are subsidized by NJ DCA for the benefit of New Jersey residents. All three workshops cost $262.
