LEED® for Green Associate PLUS

This two-day course prepares beginning green building professionals to pass the Green Building Certification Institute’s LEED® for Green Associate exam. It presents the core concepts of sustainable design and the nine LEED® Rating Systems®. Passing this first exam prepares attendees for the LEED AP status referred to as Tier Two.

NABCEP PV Sales Certification

Prerequisite: Participants must be at least 18 years of age, have completed 10 hours of OSHA certification, and demonstrate a combination of experience and education required to sit for the exam. Visit NABCEP.org for more information to see if you qualify.

The NABCEP exam is based on a set of learning objectives developed by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners Committee of PV subject matter experts. Concepts will include: Qualify the Customer; Site Analysis; Conceptual Design; Financial Costs, Incentives and Savings; Financial Benefit Analysis and Financing; Nonfinancial Benefit Analysis; Performance Analysis; and Preparing Proposals.

NABCEP Solar Installer Certification

Prerequisite: To become certified and maintain certification, the applicant must: 1.) Be at least 18 years of age; 2.) Meet prerequisites of related experience and/or education as outlined in Section 3.2 of the candidate handbook available at www.NABCEP.org; 3.) Complete an application documenting requirements; 4.) Sign and agree to uphold a Code of Ethics; 5.) Pay application and examination fees to NABCEP; and 6.) Pass a written examination.

The NABCEP PV installer certification is a voluntary certification that provides a set of national standards by which PV installers with skills and experience can distinguish themselves from their competition. This certification is not intended to prevent qualified individuals from installing PV systems or to replace state licensure requirements. This program is ideal for the person responsible for the system installation (e.g., contractor, foreman, supervisor or journeyman).
