Solar Professional Certification

Prerequisites: Potential students should be comfortable working with heights, high voltage AC & DC currents, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must obtain a language score of 8 and math score of 8 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required in the area of photovoltaic installation on residential and commercial buildings. This program prepares you to sit for the NABCEP entry-level exam. This course also qualifies for an Atlantic Cape Community College Certificate of Completion and 25.5 CEUs.

  • Introduction to National Electrical Code
  • Introduction to PV Design and Installation
  • Exam Prep
  • Hands-on Solar Installation Simulation Lab

A three-hour written test will be scheduled toward the end of the program.
