Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)*

Prerequisites: Candidates must obtain a reading score of 7 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
Prepare for a career as a home health aide during this hands-on course, which includes 60 hours of classroom lessons and 16 hours of clinical lab. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to care for patients in the home setting.
This course covers: anatomy, nutrition, diseases, infection control, human development and CPR certification. This New Jersey Board of Nursing-approved certificate program prepares students to work in the homes of clients who are elderly, ill or disabled, as well as in assisted living and adult day care facilities.
