The Pastel Landscape from Your Photographs

Renee Leopardi will lead the group through the process of painting the landscape in soft chalk pastel.  She will address composition, layering, and finishing touches in her interpretation of the landscape photograph.  Renee is an Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America, International Association of Pastel Societies, and an Associate Member of the Renaissance Center for the Arts. (Ages 18 and up.)

Painting Horses with Watercolor and Gouache

Learn about painting horses in watercolor and gouache in a workshop with Robert Stack.  Robert, whose work has appeared on many horse show posters as well as at the Academy of Equine Art, will demonstrate how to use a mixture of watercolor and gouache to create vibrant, colorful vibrant, colorful paintings of the horse.  Robert has been the featured artist for the promotional posters of Ludwigs’ Corner Horse Show, Dressage at Devon, and the Devon Horse Show.  (Ages 18 and up.)

Remembering April Showers

Robert Heyer returns in May to remember April showers in watercolor. This topic will include how to paint the spirit of rain in the spring including wet streets, cars, umbrellas, all things rain and their reflections in watercolor from photographic references. Robert is a workshops’ favorite and a full member of the Garden State Watercolor Society and a signature member of the Pennsylvania AND New Jersey Watercolor Societies. (Ages 18 and up.)
