Job Opportunities at Atlantic Cape

Provides administrative support for the Admissions and Recruitment and College Relations and Marketing offices to process and follow-up with recruitment efforts and inquiries through phone, email, text, live chat. Provides support with scheduled call campaigns to encourage and assist with the enrollment process and review various payment paths. This is a grant funded position due to expire on or before June 30, 2023.

Salary: $18 per hour up to 26 hours per week
Duties:

Reports to the Senior Director, Enrollment and Recruitment

Serves as the first point of contact for potential students calling the Admissions Office

Actively seeks recruitment and outreach opportunities targeting non-traditional and workforce student populations

Provides outreach support for non-traditional student populations

Identifies needs and answers incoming calls, text messages, emails, and live chats while maintaining compliance with FERPA regulations

Communicates general information and enrollment procedures (Admissions, Registration, Bursar, and Financial Aid)

Processes inquiry cards from recruitment outreach

Attend and promote internal and external events as needed

Researches, resolves and responds to caller inquiries

Guides students on navigating the various self-service resources

Documents calls, emails, texts, and live chat records on the Recruit software

Assists the college with outgoing call, text and email initiatives

Recognizes, documents and informs management of trends in inquiries

Routes calls, emails, text messages and chats to appropriate departments

Performs related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Associate's degree preferred

Experience:

2 years’ experience with outreach to non-traditional populations

Experience in Text/Email campaigns preferred

Experience in Higher Education setting a plus

Competencies and Skills:

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Excellent ability to communicate in written and oral form

Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Superb customer service skills

Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred

Terms of Employment:

This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
