Responsible for providing technical leadership, design and administration support for all Server, Cloud and Broadcast systems. This includes but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Servers (Application, File/Print, Database), Microsoft server security and software, email, SAAS cloud applications, IAAS cloud infrastructure and broadcast systems.

  • Leads the technical administration, design, integration and support of the Cloud Productivity Suite architecture (Goggle S-Suite, Microsoft 365 etc)
  • Leads the technical administration, design, integration and support of the Microsoft Active Directory (DHCP and DNS) and the Microsoft and Video server infrastructures
  • Leads the technical administration, design, integration and support of the VMWare environment
  • Supervises, directs and evaluates staff
  • Supports the vendor management and project management process within the Server, Cloud and Broadcast area
  • Responsible for creating Project Plans for medium to large size projects using various toolsets such as Microsoft Project, Excel or other tool
  • Responsible for supporting and promoting a collaborative environment within and across IT areas including the entire organization
  • Leads the creation and maintenance of all process and procedure documentation
  • Supports the installation, configuration, design and maintenance of all Server, Cloud and Broadcast system security software. For example: Anti-Malware software
  • Leads the maintenance of all Microsoft/Linux Server, Cloud and Broadcast systems including updates, upgrades and patch management
  • Oversees the technology support for the college’s intranet
  • Supports and monitors all broadcast equipment for WRML including studio DASDEC, codecs, transmitter, modulation monitor, and auxiliary equipment and working with FCC-licensed engineers as needed
  • Collaborates within ITS and across the organization to help ensure Americans with Disabilities Act compliance and other operational needs are met
  • Reviews and provides input for department budgets
  • Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field
  • Currently working toward one or more Microsoft, and Amazon Certifications such as MCSA, MCSA, and AWS Cloud Administration, Practitioner or Architect certifications


  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Operating Systems (Desktop and Server) and related hardware.
  • 3-5 years experience installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows networks
  • 3-5 years experience installing, configuring and maintaining VMware ESX
  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Demonstrated practical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure, Security, Networking and System Administration areas
  • Demonstrated documentation skills using spreadsheet and Word processing applications
